Growing up in the shadow of a music industry executive, Marnita Coleman, learned the business of music at an early age. On the road with gospel artists, Coleman received first-class training promoting and marketing some of the industry’s top acts, like Kirk Franklin, BeBe Winans, Shirley Caesar, Jonathan Butler, Tramaine Hawkins, The Winans, Trin-i-tee 5:7, Byron Cage, Dorinda Clark Cole and many more.
Ultimately, Marnita spread her wings to form her own rendition of music marketing, Iam Marnita.com (formerly Sought Out International). In line with the call to the nations on her life, Marnita became the U.S. Rep for the 2011 Dove Awards winning label, Zoe Records London (the largest gospel record company in the UK). She is developing her company’s international presence in other territories such as Australia, Africa, Europe, Japan, Canada and Haiti. “I believe God strategically placed me in this industry to shepherd the amazing flock of artists and musicians of end-time music ministry from around the world,” proclaims Marnita.
With an ear for music and heart for people, Marnita served in public radio as an on-air host of Baltimore’s much loved “Gospel Grace” Program on Jazz 88.9 FM. Ms. Coleman also worked withthe legendary Jeff Majors of Radio One as producer of his
